We help therapists help people!
We help therapy group practice owners reduce their stress and grow their businesses by doing intake coordination, running payroll, creating streamlined systems and processes, tracking metrics, hiring, onboarding and training therapists, and consulting on all aspects of running a therapy business. This frees up the therapists’ time and mental space so they can do what they do best: help people achieve better mental health.
Our Values
Security & Privacy: we respect that we’re handling people’s sensitive and legally protected personal health information. We follow all HIPAA guidelines, and each team member has been certified through Person Centered Tech’s Practical Application of HIPAA and Mental Health Ethics for Admin Staff.
Never have the same problem twice: our goal is for all problems to be solved as they come up, and the solution/process recorded in an SOP.
Ask questions and don’t make assumptions: We go to the SOP first. If the answer isn’t clear, we ask! Then we update the SOP so we don’t have that problem again.
Honesty & Integrity: we do what we say we’ll do, and if we make a mistake we own it.
Efficiency: Our goal is to streamline everything. We even find this fun! If there’s a better, faster or simpler way to do it, we make that the new process.
We Take Initiative: Each of our team members is encouraged to take initiative to solve problems.
People-Centered: Every other value revolves around the people we serve- the therapists and their clients- and around the mental health of our team. People always come before the task at hand. Empathy, compassion, and relationships are paramount. We don’t have a workable solution, and no efficient solution is worth the time saving, unless it works for the people who are involved.
Our Story
My name is Emily Ferguson, and I’m the owner of Provision: Operations & Consulting. I have over 15 years of experience in people and processes management: Walmart assistant manager, apartment and motel management, project management for ecommerce stores, and now operations management for therapy practices.
After receiving therapy myself and finding it highly valuable, I became an intake coordinator for a therapy practice in order to move into something different from project management for online t-shirt stores. I brought all of my project management expertise into my new role, and using the same skills I’d used to help build an ecommerce store from it’s first $1 in sales to a multi million dollar venture, I helped grow this therapy practice.
I put processes into place for intake coordination that used practices proven to convert callers to clients. I streamlined the processes for payroll, hiring, onboarding, and dismissing employees, and created surveys, email templates, and therapist trainings. I tracked what worked and what didn’t, and we did more of what worked! I created a standard operation procedure for everything.
I trained my replacement for that intake coordinator position, and continued working for that practice as an operations manager. I starting taking on more therapy practice owners as clients, and with each new client I have revised and improved each system, and customized them to meet the unique needs of that practice.
I formed Provision: Operations & Consulting with the mission to help therapy practice owners focus their time on providing therapy, and to grow their businesses by being their support system for everything business related.
Our team now consists of an Operations Specialist, an Intake Coordinator, and a Payroll Specialist in addition to myself.
We look forward to working with you!
